Another beautiful day in paradise. Got up at my normal 6:00 a.m. and checked to see what the weather looked like over the Koolau. Looking good, so I gotta put an extra shine on the trike, as it's a day for lovers. We get started early, can't wait for the day to get started.

The turnout's good considering, today some gotta take care of their sweeties, while some of us brought ours with. Kimo with his Stacy, Rudy with his significant other Fran, Richard and his faithful Twila, Vinnie, Marc with camera in hand, Ruby visiting us with a quick trip from Korea, Steve L. and me with my partner in crime, Sparky. Calvin stopped by to say hey as he went to be with his sweetheart. Brother Richard asked the blessing for the day and we got started.

We welcomed Dandy, our newest member, who we officially presented him with his patch today. Welcome aboard to our newest family member, Dandy.

We take time to welcome our guest rider, Ryan Richardson. His wife gets to work while he gets use to the Hawaii roads after relocating here from Utah, by riding with the Intruders.

Time to get started. We decided to head over to Waipahu to say hey to our friends, the Waipahu Hogs. It's their annual "Makin Bacon" poker run. We meet up with our friend Joseph and after some discussion, some decide to participate while others just decide to ride along as the route is clear around the island. We get into some serious riding. Richard is having a bit of bike trouble so they decide to break away and Dandy goes with them to try to help work on Richard's bike.

First stop, after signing up and rolling for our first set of numbers in Waipahu, it's out to Dillingham. We talk story with some our friends from the Viet Vets club and a few of us do our numbers, then it's saddle up and go pay our respects to our brother, Santos. We ask for blessing over our lost brother and continue on our way with Marc and Ruby road guarding and looking out for our safety.

We head on, next stop for the poker run will be Kualoa Ranch. We decide on a snack stop for some at Ted's Bakery, while some took time to gas up. What do you know, Snax passes by Ted's while getting use to his new bike with Bob following behind. After a quick snack and some story time with California visitors, it's off again.

Next stop, the ranch, then on to the pier. It's been a long run this time, but lots of scenery in between. The roads are busy with bikers, lovers and just a good time for all.

We head back to Waipahu and meet up with more of our biker buddies. Quick visit, some lunch, friends break away to finish their day with dinners, etc. with their loved ones, and it's time to say ado. Ruby has won low hand so a good end of vacation for her. They head for Waikiki, with Kimo and Stacy leading, Vinnie gonna break away, Joseph and Ruby. Sparky and I join our friends from the World Wide MC and head home to get ready for our dinner.

It was another wonderful day with brotherhood, camaraderie, friendship and all in all, just a great time. Maybe because it was Valentine's Day or just beauty in Paradise, but it was definitely a fun time by all.
