The day was not looking too good. Kaneohe was pouring rain around 7 am. I decided to wait till 9 am to check the weather in town. The word was “sunny skies let’s ride”.

I got on my motorcycle and headed to Zippy's. When I got there, members Jim B, Calvin H, Marc K, Kimo N, Richard T, Vinney V, Rudy W, were there and ready to ride. Ohana members present were Sparky, Fran and Twila. We welcomed Guest riders Joseph R. and Matt J. who were also eager and ready to do some riding.

Richard asked the blessing for the day. The sun even came out stronger after the prayer. Richard still has the POWER. Cal and Jim had other commitments and they headed one way as we took off in the opposite direction.

We headed west to Yokohama Bay. When we got there, we were in luck, the whales were doing their thing. Was a very nice sight to see the whales playing in the ocean. We got to talk stories with a few other motorcycle clubs members there. Some of our old friends from IOH as well. We headed back to 711 in Makaha to have a drink and some snacks and fuel for some.

Lunch was calling, so we headed for Wahiawa. Marc, Kimo, Richard, Vinney, Rudy, Ohana members: Sparky, Fran and Twila with our Guest rider Joseph enjoyed a nice lunch at Dots.

After lunch, a few headed east bound, and the rest of us headed north. I got home around 4 pm. It was a very nice day after the bad start out of Kaneohe.
