I just wanted to take this time to wish all our members a safe holiday season. In the “day to day scheme of things” we forget just how much our Intruder families mean to us. I feel blessed to be able to count on each and everyone of you, whether it be to help with a function or just someone to “talk story” with.
No matter what the need you see our teal out in full force. I don’t always take the time to thank each and every one of you personally, but I mean it from the bottom of my heart. To have an extended family is a very special thing, but at this time of year I am reminded again and again how everyone plays a part of our day to day lives.
We had a wonderful turnout for the Toy Run this year. Well over 4,000 bikes participated. SBU did awesome thanks to all of the help you Intruders gave once again. I feel great pride when I see all the teal directing traffic, T-shirt sales, water sales, and many other things too numerous to mention. I’m able to do what I have to do thanks to all of my members and their families.
It was good having Santos back into our fold.
Let's remember to thank our Road Guards that play a very important part in keeping all of us to maintain safe riding. I also want to thank our photographer, Marc for taking all the wonderful pictures. We can always count on a story within each and every picture that he takes. Thank you, Marc. Please take time to check in the gallery to see all the new pictures.
We did our annual Thanksgiving at the Blaisdell again. I want to thank Sparky, Marc, Fran/Rudy, Pat/Tawnie, Papa “G”, Richard/Twila, Bucky, Jim/Francis, Scotty/Ulu, Joseph and Ruby for once again stepping up to the plate and helping to serve drinks.
Please take care and be safe through this holiday season.
